Antimony trioxide is a white crystalline powder. It is the most important chemical compound of antimony.

ANTIMONY TRIOXIDE POWDER APPLICATIONS:
Antimony trioxide decomposes when heated, and produces toxic fumes. It is insoluble in water and inflammable. It can be a threat to the environment. These characteristics make it a good candidate for many applications. Some of the major applications include:

Flame Retardant
Antimony trioxide is used as a flame retardant in textiles, polymers and coatings.

Opacifier
Antimony trioxide is used as an opacifying agent for glasses, ceramics and enamels.

Pigment
Antimony trioxide is used as a pigment called antimony white.
