BACKGROUND:
Copper is one of the few metals to occur naturally as an uncompounded mineral. It was known to some of the oldest civilizations on record, and has a history of use that is at least 10,000 years old.

COPPER POWDER APPLICATIONS:
Copper is a trace nutrient to all high plants and animals. It is a significant decorative metal art. Copper can also be used as an anti-germ surface that can aid the anti-germ surfaces in buildings like hospitals. It is ductile, malleable, conducts heat well, and can be a good conductor of electricity when it is very pure. Some of the major applications include:

Piping
Copper is one of the most commonly used metals for piping. It is durable, easy to install, safer in natural disasters, weather resistant and bacteria resistant.

Computers
Copper is used in circuits, circuit boards, and computer chips. Use of copper in computers makes faster calculations, and lower prices than aluminum.

Electricity:
Copper is a good electricity conductor. It is highly conductive, yet inexpensive. Many electrical devices rely on copper wiring for electric currents.

Health
Isotopes of copper are used in medicine. They are used to do things like study brain function and treat cancer. Another health application is copper kills many bacteria.
