Atlantic Equipment Engineers, Inc. was founded in 1963, as a materials engineering company. Our primary goal was to supply the needs of the expanding space program.
At the same time, newly emerging high-tech companies with requirements for unusual electronic and high purity materials turned to AEE for materials covering the spectrum from powder to ingot and from element to compound. New materials are continuously being sourced and produced to demanding specifications and stocked for immediate shipment.
In 1969, AEE became a Division of Micron Metals, Inc., and continued to be a unique source for the high quality, high purity metals, compounds and fabricated forms required to meet the needs of today’s researchers, engineers, technicians, and manufacturers around the world.
In 2001 AEE was certified to ISO 9002. Since then, we have continued to grow, and improve our quality management system to meet the current ISO 9001 standard.
In 2010, we moved our headquarters to its current state-of-the-art location in Upper Saddle River, NJ, dramatically increasing our size and capabilities.
In 2020, as the world shut down due to the COVID epidemic, we were proud to stay open, continuing to serve critical industries across the globe.
