Product Description
AL 4047 is an aluminum alloy containing approximately 11-13% silicon. The remaining composition is primarily aluminum, with controlled additions of other elements such as iron (0.8% max), copper (0.3% max), zinc (0.2% max), manganese (0.15% max), and magnesium (0.1% max). This high silicon content gives 4047 alloy superior fluidity, reduced shrinkage, and excellent performance at elevated temperatures, making it ideal for brazing, welding filler material, and high-temperature applications like automotive parts.
