Product Description
Barium Titanate is a light gray-buff powder. It is insoluble in water and alkalies and slightly soluble in dilute acids, soluble in concentrated sulfuric and hdrofluric acids. It becomes permanantly polarzed when exposed to high voltage direct current, so long as the temperature is never allowed to rise above Curie point. It has high dielectric properties which can be influened by temperature, voltage and frequency. Barium titanate is often used in electronic devicesm computer elements, magnetic amplifiers and memory devices. It can also be used in digital calculators.
