Product Description
Hafnium is a lustrous, silvery gray transition metal. It can be used in the production of filaments and electrodes as well as integrated circuits. When alloyed with niobium, titanium or tungsten, they produce what is know as superalloys. It is corrosioin resistant, and has the same physical properties as zirconium except for density. Zirconium has approximately one-half the density of hafnium.
