HF 201 is a gray, metallic, high temperature ceramic made up of hafnium and boron. Hafnium Diboride has high thermal and electrical conductivities. It can be used in wear resistant coatings, and also in hypervelocity re-entry vehicles like ICBM heat shields or aerodynamic leading-edges.
