Hafnium Sponge is a silvery gray transition metal that has very high heat resistance. Hafnium is used in alloys with Fe, Ti, Nb, Ta along with other metals. The main engine of the Apollo Lunar Module (made of C103 alloy) is made of Niobium - Hafnium and Titanium.
