Product Description
Nickel Titanium alloy, also called Nitinol, has 2 main properties, Shape memory and Superelasticity. At high temperatures, nitinol assumes an interpenetrating simple cubic structure called Austenite (parent phase). At low temperatures, nitinol spontaneously transforms to a monoclinic crystral structure know as martensite (daughter phase).
