It is usually found in the form of cassiterite which is an oxide mineral. AEE tin powders are used in applications as far ranging as self-lubricating bearings, friction materials, chemical formulations, metal-bonded abrasive wheels and cutting tools and metals and ceramic bonding. It is also widely used in fashion jewelry.
